Hello and welcome to my blog!
For a long time now I have wanted to put some things down in writing, and I’ve decided that Geeks With Issues is a the perfect platform to do it. I am many things to many people (geek, FA, scout, DPS, DM, gamer, son, friend, student, teacher, boyfriend, mathematician, philosopher) And I am about to add blogger to that list.
“So what are your hobbies?” In many situations, I dread this question. Let me explain why:
I’m so tired of explaining myself to people.
I play the roleplaying game Dungeons & Dragons (D&D), a game I enjoy, a game I invest a lot of time into. I sometimes used to feel apprehensive about telling people this, not because there is something wrong with playing D&D or because I felt guilty for playing it, but because the hobby itself is misunderstood. Now, those old apprehensions are gone, replace with new ones.
