Seeing as the weekend after Thanksgiving is quickly approaching, I thought it important to let our loyal fans know about a change in the schedule for the fourth annual iteration of the Battle Against Dysentery, the Geeks’ yearly charity extravaganza. I’d like to think of it as a “Bad News, Good News” kinda thing.

Good Day, True Believers:

UPDATE: It is a reality that I, as the robotic and quiet counterpart of Geeks With Issues’ Executive Producer Matthew “Tuck” Tucker, I am limited by his fleshy, slow capabilities. Those capabilities have been clearly lacking in the land of the website, and I have spent far to much time with my paramore, the NES. It’s time to get this party started…again.

The Story Begins Again…

The reports of our deaths, and systematic shut downs, have been exaggerated. A show that lives on passion cannot be canceled. The destiny of a ragtag band of creative people, of Geeks, cannot be denied. The Basement may be covered in dust, but it waits for it’s masters to awaken it, and bring it to life again.

A broken website was not the end…it was a placeholder, the start of a new beginning.

That beginning is here, True Believers. Welcome to GeeksWithIssues.com 3.0.

Hey True Believers! That’s right – for those of you who were ahead of the curve, and saw Episode 115 live as we recorded it at PCTV, you know that I am presently in Portland, OR. And why might I be doing this? Clearly, I have some of this in mind, right?

Well…no. But, for those of you who are out of the loop, details are coming…as is a week of exciting coverage from Portland. Let’s just say that, thanks to you True Believers, Geeks With Issues is now a multi-award winning program. But enough about that right now. Right now, I have some jet lag to cope with…because even as my body tells me it’s 11:00pm, I know that’s from my days living EDT. I’m living PDT right now, and it’s only just 8:00pm. Wee, dawg.

Award Winning Programming? You’d Better Believe It!

My Dearest True Believers: Thank you. That’s right.  I’d like to get mushy, and thank each and every one of you for being fans of Geeks With Issues.  For telling us how much you love our show, and telling us about how you want to see more, and better, programming.  Thank you for being there, and being our reason to create this show, and excel. Thank you for helping us earn this:

This is the Pittsfield Community Television Community Access Award for AccessPittsfield.  It is because of the production level, our coverage outside of the station, and our dedication to programming that has earned us this award.  And it is you that spurred us on to make it happen. So thank you, True Believers.  Because today, Geeks With Issues is award winning programming.  And we are going to milk the hell out of that, for the rest of this show’s life. Be Strong.  Be Joyful.  Be Geek. – Tuck P.S. – When you read this will be the first time that our Geeks read this.  Only I, our director and our technical director knew this was coming.  Because the Geeks deserve this to be as much of a surprise and delight as you all did.  Congratulations Geeks – you all earned this!
